Beijing Gaobeidian Village Half Day Trip

Our guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel at 8:00AM and then go to Beijing Gaobeidian Village in the private car or bus. The first visiting spot is the Tonghui River，a part of man-made ancient Beijing-Hangzhou Great Canal which was dug one thousand years ago and its ancient gate. Then we drive to Gaobeidian Classic Furniture Street where we could visit over 300 traditional classic furniture workshops, seeing the intelligent workers about the way to make classic furniture. The next stop is Gaobeidian Chinese Folk Custom Park with Hu-tong layout. It is the biggest folk style handicraft market in Beijing which includes 208 old-fashioned stores inside. Then we go to a local farmer's house, talking with the locals, having tea, taking part in making the dinner--dumpling and having dinner with the family. After dinner, go out and see how locals spend their evening, seeing locals having traditional dance, drum, singing and so on. You may even join in the evening activity and experience the real rural life. A terrific day ends after your transfer back to the hotel down town.
