Our tour guide will pick up in the lobby of your hotel around 6:00pm. Then drive to Houhai Lake wharf which locates in the "Lotus Market". Our boat trip starts around 7:00pm. The local boat is made in the style of Song Dynasty dating to 800 years ago and painted with the old Chinese Traditional paintings. All the boats are equipped with red lanterns which means auspicious. Please enjoy some tea and local snacks on the boat. And what’s much more cheerful, you also have the chance to get a close view of the local people's daily life on the banks and enjoy the sweet tune from the Chinese traditional musical instruments played by pretty Chinese girls on the bow of boats. Our boat will travel under the Yinding Bridge which is a very famous scenic spot in the local Beijing history. Then the boat enters a bigger lake. If we are lucky, we could see people at the bank light up the candle in the little paper boats and put them into the water. The little boats flicker at each other. That is really the high lightest part of our tour which would make you to feel like back to old days of the feudal dynasties. We may send you back to hotel at 10:00 pm or you are free on your own in the Houhai bars.
